I wanted to share some of the experiment pictures of Lakme Gypsy Collection Black Satin Kajal with you guys. 🙂

Lakme Black Satin Kajal stayed on my waterline for good 7 hours and I had to remove it afterward. These are the pictures I clicked after 5 hours of application. As you can see that that Kajal has smudged a little but the intensity of kajal has not reduced on my waterline. I just dipped a q tip in a cotton bud and removed the kajal from my lower lash line.
Also the kajal didn’t travel all the way down on my under eye area. It just smudge around the lower lashline.
No other kajal has ever stayed for so long on my eyes. I am completely in love with lakme Black Satin Kajal.
I would just like to mention that the staying power of kajal would be different for different people. If you have super watery eyes probably this kajal wouldn’t stay on that long.
I am totally in love with Lakme Kajal . I have tried kajal from Biotique, Lotus and Himalaya in past but none of the three has been able to beat this one.Lotus Kajal used to stay pretty well on my eyes . Himalaya and Biotique pretty much gave me racoon eyes.
I am sold this time. 😛
I would always repurchase it.

Quads are not that great Fathima. Those are the only disappointing tings in the collection. i’ll show you and also tell you why. 🙂

very true – u know the most blackest kajal is that shringar kajal – used to buy it for 2 rupeese – no kidding ! when i was in the 6th std ! used it for years – then also there is this mumtaz kajal comes in a tube with a stick so when u put it goes on both ur upper n lower lash line – i louuued that too (seriously that was the best ever ) – then I got contacts n I had to stop using all these kajals – 😥 😥 😥 😥 😥
now only MAC coz its contact lense safe and lakme (coz I got too lazy one day to go to MAC for a new one)
but traditional kajal are the blackest black – me miss them berry berry much 😥 😥 😥 😥

It was seriously one of the coolest prodcts ever – best way to do Mr Blair’s french eyelining 😛 😛 😛
logistically though – i couldnt use it coz i do my eye make up after putting the lense on (though i know i should do it the other way around) and the stick would mean id have a line across my lense too :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-((

I have worn kajal like that all my life. 😛 My mom used to get surme daani from Charminar hyderabad and my naani used to make home made kajals. It’s only from past few years that I have started using all the fancy things. 😛

Well..Kajal being a most-essential part of my routine..I must try this..I just hope these are easy to sharpen (like lip artists) and not like the previous lakme kajals..which used to crumble during sharpening!!!! Ya me too saw the quads of this collection…combo is not dat good.. :pain: ..

Lol I just wish we had ingredients – even though that might be asking much. I can easily imagine this kajal being that long staying as I sometimes use the Lakme Perfect Definition Eye pencil and I use it on the waterline (even though I have no idea if its safe to do so – but it doesnt irritate my eyes so … :yes: ) and its stays for quite a while. 😀 😀 😀

The revlon kajal is pretty good – my cousin who’s a make up artist recommended it and my mom uses it too – seems pretty good from what I’ve seen. Though i’ve never used it myself …..
I’ve been using Revlon kajal since quite a long time, and have absolutely loved it always.. Just now shifted to oriflame after reading Neha’s review here!! :-)…!

i’ve always luved Lakme kajal.. used to wear it everyday b4 started using my Loreal Khol pencil… i had already made up my mind to get the Lotus Kajal after reading the gr8 reviews on IMBB bt nw after Sabrina’s reviews n ur pics,Rati.. i am definitely going to pick this 1 up :-)) 😀 only(after i finish my Loreal one… tht is gr8 tooooo)..

the kajal looks blackest black!!!love it!!and i guess it can be used on the upper lashes too as a liner right??
btw had a trip to the mall today!!maybelline has got some new eyeshadow palette with 5 colours but they are just not pigmented!!loved the shades though..if only they were a little more pigmented like the chai latte quad!!!

does anybody have a problem sharpening these lakme kaajals. i used the lakme sharpener but it happened with 2 kaajals and after not being able to get a decent tip i had to discard the kaajals? otherwise i like the deep black colour of the kaajal.
