My Take on Lakme RM10 Enrich Matte Lipstick:

The lipstick comes in the same old boring Lakme packaging, a matte silver colored plastic case with a clear cap. The cap shuts tightly making it travel friendly. This lipstick tube comes in a silver-colored cardboard packaging that has product description, etc. mentioned on it, but the ingredients list is missing like all other Lakme products. The lipsticks from Enrich Satin range have numbers to them and it’s a little difficult to remember the shade numbers. Overall, the packaging is fine and travel friendly.

The shade #RM10 is a deep plum shade. This is a gorgeous wintery shade that looks nice and bold on the lips. It brightens up the face instantly. There are no shimmers in this lipstick. It will flatter almost every Indian skin tone nicely. The pigmentation of this shade is amazing, just one swipe of this lipstick gives a semi-opaque finish. I apply a second coat to even out the finish and makes the color more intense. It perfectly hides pigmented lips. The lipstick smells a bit strong and a little unpleasant, so I find it a little bothering. The lipstick looks velvety initially and sets to a semi-matte finish after a few minutes.

The texture of the lipstick is very smooth and creamy. It glides effortlessly on the lips without any dragging. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. It does not have that thick or waxy texture. The lipstick clings to the dry patches of the lips & highlights them badly, so proper exfoliation of the lips is a must. The formula of the lipstick is slightly moisturizing. It does not dry out my lips and keeps my lips moisturized for 3-4 hours easily. The creaminess of the lipstick made it transfer to mugs and goblets easily. The lipstick has bleeding issues from the corners.

The lipstick has a decent staying power. It lasts on my lips for some 4-5 hours easily with a little drinking. While after having a full meal, the color gets ripped off and the lipstick settles into the fines lines of the lips, leaving a stain behind. The stain looks quite cheap and it is a little difficult to remove. It can be taken off using a good makeup remover only. Overall, these lipsticks deliver good color and finish at a decent price tag.
