My Experience with Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector:

Packaging: Comes in a very convenient and easy-to-use pump dispenser bottle. The pump disperses not too much product in one go. For my below-shoulder length hair, I need about 2-3 pumps to fully coat my hair. If you do have thicker hair or longer hair, you will need a lot more than a couple of pumps.

Consistency: This product has a thin lotion-like consistency. It spreads very easily and does not weigh hair down. My hair is very dry and prone to frizz. Immediately upon application, my hair instantly got smooth and soft and it got rid of most of the frizz. My hair became instantaneously bouncier which is very rare for my fine limp hair. It dries completely within a minute and you do not feel any type of residue or stickiness or greasiness on the hair hence it is complete pillow safe if you use it as an overnight hair mask.

With a single overnight treatment, my hair felt so much soft and manageable by morning. I do not feel the need to wash it out in the morning because it doesn’t feel heavy or weigh my hair down, but you can wash it off too and the results would still be visible. With a couple of uses, I have started to notice my hair feeling stronger and looking healthier. I also love to use this product as a leave in condition during the day time too. After styling, I apply just a small pea-sized amount, which helps control the flyaways and frizz in my hair all day long.

About the claims of the results lasting up to 5 shampoos, I did find that claim a bit exaggerated. On my hair, the results do wash off in 1-2 washes, but having said that, my hair is very dry and does need constant dose of moisturization all the time. If you are someone with normal hair, the results will last longer for you.
