L’Oreal Contour Khol Dark Chocolate
Hello IMBB Sweeties! :pompom:
It’s been nearly two months since I bought L’Oreal Contour Khol Dark Chocolate and have been wanting to review here. I wanted to buy Colorbar I glide Pencil since a long time but when the SA swatched L’Oreal Contour Khol Dark Chocolate, I instantly fell in love with the shade and pigmentation. So please read my review to know my overall experience with this Khol.
Price: Rs 299, I got this for Rs 275 after discount.

My Experience With L’Oreal Contour Khol Dark Chocolate
I had gone to to purchase Colorbar I glide pencil ‘Cocobar’, I swatched Cocobar and the L’Oreal SA also showed me the L’Oreal Contour Khol in dark chocolate pencil. I felt both these pencils were really pigmented and the color was somewhat similar too. But the texture of Colorbar pencil was more soft in comparison with L’Oreal one. Colorbar one is also bit pricy some 40-50 bucks more. I thought its better to purchase L’Oreal one as I was getting that for Rs 275 and its texture was neither too soft not too hard which could tug my eyes while applying and the tip also wont break easily in comparative to Colorbar ones. So I bought it finally and wear it most of the days. True to its name it’s a deep, intense dark chocolate color. I can line my upper lashline and lower waterline with this pencil with much ease. Below is my pic where I have lined my eyes with this pencil. :jalwa:
This is how it looks on my eyes with just one swipe of the L’Oreal Liner.
Pros of L’Oreal Contour Khol Dark Chocolate
-It’s a beautiful, intense dark brown eye pencil.
-Pigmentation is really good.
-I don’t need more than one swipe when my dark circles are not so pronounced.
-Its texture is the best I feel, neither too soft nor too hard.
-Due its texture, its tip doesn’t break like other eye pencils. Recently the tip of my Faces eye pencil broke.
-It contains Castor oil.
-Price is quite reasonable.
-it’s a pretty matte dark brown color.
-It’s a must have pencil liner that can be used during both day and evening.
-Its staying power is almost 6-7 hours. In my case, it stays until I don’t remove it with remover.
-Gets easily removed with a mild cleanser.
-I can line both my upper lash line and lower lashline and waterline with much ease.
-Didn’t irritate my eyes at all.
-4-5 shades are available in this range.
-Doesn’t tug my eyes while applying.
Cons of L’Oreal Contour Khol Dark Chocolate
-There is product wastage while sharpening.
-Just brown and green shades available in this range, I would like to see more bluish kind of shades.
-It’s not kohl but more of a eye liner pencil.
-It is waterproof.
Rating: 4.25 out of 5
Will I repurchase? No, I would go for Faces brown pencil this time, that one is much cheaper than this one.
