I have already reviewed the shades “Fuchsia Amnesia”, “Forbidden Kiss”, “Rebel Rose”, “Shanghai Scarlet” and “Rouge Envy” from the newly-launched L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte range. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Statement Nude”. So, read on to find out more about this product.
$8, prices vary from store to store.
A Pro-Matte Revolution: Introducing Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss, our first whipped matte gloss. Intense high pigment shades create lasting matte color. Lush velvety texture feels soft for all day comfort. With the pro-sculpt applicator, shape and add dimension to lips.
My Experience with L’Oreal Infallible Statement Nude Pro-Matte Gloss:
Packaging: This gloss comes in a transparent curvy rectangular tube with a black cap. The packaging is simple yet looks pretty. The cap is a screw-on type and hence there is no danger of it coming off loose. The name of the gloss appears on a sticker on the cap. The applicator sponge is doe shaped with a small hole in the middle. It picks up a good amount of the product and applies the gloss easily and precisely.
Shade/Pigmentation: “Statement Nude” is a gorgeous pinkish-brown n*de shade. It is slightly darker than the n*de shade from the Maybelline Vivid Matte range “Nude Flush.” I like this shade better as it does not wash me out and does not always need a complementary eye makeup.
This shade will surely suit a wider range of skin tones. The gloss is strongly pigmented and one swipe is enough to cover the lips. There is no clumping of the gloss if you layer it on.
Texture/Finish: The texture of this gloss is more like a liquid lipstick. It is quite creamy and applies very smoothly. The finish is a semi-matte one with some amount of sheen. The sheen makes the lips look plumper. The gloss does set a bit after a while but it does not dry down to a fully dry matte finish.
The gloss feels pretty comfortable on the lips and feels like velvet. It does not feel drying. Nor does it settle into lip lines. I did not observe any feathering either.
Lasting Power: The gloss transfers quite a bit. The lasting power is average and it lasts on me for around 4-5 hours depending on what I am snacking/drinking.
Pros of L’Oreal Infallible Statement Nude Pro-Matte Gloss:

Cons of L’Oreal Infallible Statement Nude Pro-Matte Gloss:

Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Infallible Statement Nude Pro-Matte Gloss?
This is a beautiful n*de shade and if you can overlook the low staying power, you can surely try this one out.
I will not repurchase- the exact same shade.
