My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss Bare Attraction:

The gloss comes in a plastic transparent tube packaging with a doe foot applicator attached to the twist over cap. It does have a strong smell which I dislike but other than that it is pretty user friendly & travel friendly. The shade “Bare Attraction” appears to be more or less similar to “Nude Allude” in the tube, though the two differ a lot when worn on the lips. Bare Attraction comes up as a light brown shade on my skin tone with bit of beige peach undertones, while Nude Allude is a bit bolder.

name

I see that it complements my skin tone very well and does not wash me out, hence I find it perfect for pale/light skin tones. The texture of this gloss is thick yet light-weight with a mousse-like consistency; this gloss easily adheres on my normal-dry lips. It will certainly forgive minor flaws and dryness being a decently hydrating and intensely pigmented gloss. But a good scrubbing & moisturizing lip routine will help you get flawless, long lasting results as per my opinion.

lip gloss tube

I have worn it on my normal-dry lips at times and it has never settled into the lip lines or patches; just that after a while I see that the glossy wet shine transfers into a semi-matte sheen which might highlight our dry lips. However it is an intensely pigmented formula which covers almost 80% of my lip flaws in one single swipe. I need a second swipe to even out the finish and it stays put for good number of hours. I have never felt the need of using a lip liner or a lip balm with this finish and formula, though I feel that well scrubbed and moisturized lips make for an ideal canvas.

wand

I mean it might cling to dry patches upon drying or after few hours which might be tricky. Like I always say, once you purse your lips together, the self adjusting finish helps to achieve an even color; it can be disappointing to note that it is not a matte formula though. It is creamy and glossy; though I like it, it can be a turnoff for pure matte lovers. It stays put for good 5-6 hours before fading and might need re-application.

applicator

Over all I think this is the first nude shade which is getting my attention and hence I might like to get it again. But, matte lovers might want to skip it totally. I will recommend it to gals who are into semi-matte liquid glosses or lip colors.

• A richly pigmented neutral brown gloss
• Complements my pale skin tone very well
• Gives medium to nearly complete coverage in just 2 swipes
• Suitable even for pigmented lips
• Does not accentuate or aggravate dryness
• Does not settle into the lip lines or cling to mild dry patches
• Does not look cakey upon layering
• Creamy and lightweight

• Quite attractive and travel friendly packaging

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss Bare Attraction:

• The smell is strong and funky

Well, despite its downsides, I feel I love this shade and the texture to some extent. I am also looking for similar shades in other formula and brands.
