I have already reviewed “Café De Flore” and “Beige Reveur” lipsicks from L’Oreal’s Rouge Magique range. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Cashmere Delicat.” Read on for more details on this lipstick.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Rouge Magique Lipstick Cashmere Delicate:

Let’s begin with the packaging of this lipstick, it comes in a gorgeous black and metallic pink packaging. The lipstick tube is black in color and has a beautiful metallic pink cap. The cap shuts very tightly making a click sound hence the packaging is definitely purse-friendly. The metallic pink packaging looks quite girly and attractive as well. The range name is printed on the black portion of the lipstick tube and the text written in proper readable. There is a color-coded sticker at the base of the tube, which bears the shade name and number. The lipstick has a regular twist up mechanism, which works pretty smoothly. The lipstick has a regular bullet shape, which facilitates easy and smooth application. Overall, I love the packaging. It is so feminine and sturdy as well.

“Cashmere Delicat” is a warm-toned brown shade with a hint of orange. This is a gorgeous MLBB shade for Asian skin tones. The color is subtle and looks pretty on the lips. It is a true brown n*de lip color. It looks lovely on the lips and does not add too much maturity on the face. I always refrain from wearing browns because they make me look old and mature, but I have fallen in love with the brown lipsticks from L’Oreal Magique range. I have medium skin tone and this shade has turned out to be a pretty n*de shade for my skin tone.

This shade is meant for medium skin tones according to L’Oreal. This is a perfect everyday shade. It has no shimmer or sheen and sets to a soft, velvety matte finish. The finish is close to powder matte. The lipstick is decently pigmented and one swipe gives semi-opaque coverage therefore I need two to three swipes to get perfect and even color. The color spreads evenly on the lips and never gets patchy. It is capable of hiding pigmented lips very well. There is no significant smell in this lipstick, which is a pro for people with sensitive noses.

The texture of the lipstick is amazing. Most matte lipsticks out there are drying but the formula of this lipstick is buttery smooth. It is soft and goes pretty smoothly on the lips. Therefore, it does not cause any tugging or pulling, but being a matte lip color, it has the tendency to cling to the dry patches of the lips, so prepping lips prior to application is mandatory. The color clings to dry patches but the formula is really nourishing. It is lightweight and feels super comfortable on the lips. It is non-drying matte lipstick. My lips feel so comfortable and kind of hydrated with this lipstick. It looks stunning and never gets patchy. This range is worth trying by people with dry lips as well because the formula keeps lips nourished. It’s smudgeproof too, takes a few seconds to set and once set, it does not budge at all. It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips and sets to a smooth finish.

The lipstick lasts for approximately 5-6 hours on my lips with constant sipping of water. Being such a soft shade, I find its staying power quite impressive. It survives little snacking easily but cannot survive a full heavy meals and fades from the inner corner of the lips, but reapplication after meals resolves the issue. Overall, the lipstick has a few cons but I still love it so much.
