by Harpreet Kaur

Thank you IMBB team for publishing my first article and as I promised I’m back with the review of shampoo from the same expert serie. 🙂

How are you all?? It is so cold in Delhi that I just want to watch TV (Discovery ID channel… currently my fav <3) have coffee, stick to my laptop and keep lying in my quilt hehe.. As I have already told that my hair were chemically treated and due to excessive use of hair styling products they got dry and damaged. I keep on changing my hair masques more or less but I was using my regular shampoo for 2-3 years and then I decided to pamper with a good shampoo to restore my hair’s natural texture. While surfing on the internet, this shampoo came to my rescue and since then its been serving as saviour for my hair.. Read on to know more.

L’OREAL PROFESSIONNEL PARIS ABSOLUT REPAIRING

Price:

Rs. 575/- for 250ml (I got it for Rs. 550). Some good websites were selling L’Oreal expert serie products at 15% off, but I didn’t find this one 🙁 🙁 I got it from my local market.

Product Description and Ingredients:

L’OREAL PROFESSIONNEL PARIS ABSOLUT REPAIRING

My Experience with L’Oreal Professionnel Paris Absolut Repair Lipidium Instant Reconstructing Shampoo For Damaged Hair

From the first wash, not after using masque but after using shampoo, I could see a noticeable difference in my hair. The first thing I noticed that they were thick and second a big difference which I noticed was that they could detangle easily. However due to the thick consistency of the shampoo, my natural curls loosen a bit but I had no problem with it because I prefer straight hair. I put the shampoo directly on my wet hair and formed a lather. However it doesn’t form lather like other drugstore brands because it has SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulphate) not SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate). SLES is not harmful for the hair like SLS (I read this info on IMBB itself 😀 ) This is the main reason that it forms less lather. But it has such a good list of ingredients like glycerine, Lactic acid, Hydrolized soy protein, Hydrolized wheat protein, Hydrolized corn protein….

Anyways, coming back to the point… I massaged my hair with shampoo still there, I mean scalp 😛 with gentle strokes for a minute or two, I guess and then rinsed with lukewarm water and to seal the texture one final wash with bearable cold water (you all know by bearable what I mean in Delhi winters). I used my regular hair serum on damp hair and yes, my hair were clean, smelt nice and  lasted for 48 hrs after that I don’t know because I wash my hair every 2nd or 3rd day.. 😀 😀  They were tangle free and I felt that it added volume to my hair. It also helped in hair growth and controls the frizz for a good period. Yes, If you are reading this you can say it is a boon for dry, damaged and frizzy hair.

  3. Don’t ever use this shampoo. It’s completely waste. I bought it from snapdeal along with mask. It’s foam less formula fails to remove dirt from my hair it makes my limp and flat. Finally, drandruff is the only outcome I got from this product. Don’t go for it better stick with our Indian products to boost your hair.
