Skin type: Combination (sometimes dry), sensitive and acne-prone

Today, I am going to review Lotus Herbals Dermo Spa Bulgarian Rose Radiance and Renewal Night Crème. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals DermoSpa Bulgarian Rose Radiance and Renewal Night Creme:
The cream comes in a translucent frosty finish brown colored glass jar. This jar has detailing on it in pretty gold fonts and it has a mirror finish gold screw-on lid. The lid closes tightly and makes this tub packaging leak-proof.
But, the glass jar is bulky for carrying during travels and it needs to be stored securely to prevent breakage. There is also a safety cover inside, which helps to keep the jar and its lid clean and mess-free. The jar does not bear much information about the product on it. The entire product related information is printed on the outer packaging.
The cream is pure white in colour. It has a very refreshing rose fragrance. I love the fragrance of these day and night crèmes. It is so fresh but it is a little strong and it might be bothersome for some. The smell stays for around half an hour and then fades away gradually. I totally love its smell as it revives the senses and it is so calming and relaxing as well. The texture of the cream is on the thicker side.
It is buttery smooth and glides effortlessly on the skin but the thick formula takes time to get it absorb into the skin nicely. The formula is slightly heavier on the skin. It takes a little massage to make the product sink into the skin properly. The brand claims it to be suitable for all skin types, but as far as I feel, it is not for oily skin type. It will definitely make the skin oily. My skin has become dry these days, so I found it really nourishing for my skin.
It takes away flakiness and dryness from the skin, making it smoother and softer. It does feel heavy or sticky on the skin. Since the night crèmes have thicker formulation this crème also needs to be massaged thoroughly to make it absorb into the skin properly. Just pressing it in does not work for this kind of formulation. I have to literally massage well to make the product get absorbed. It leaves a shiny film on my skin. It is not too lightweight on the skin. I feel the crème on my skin.
It is not a non-sticky or lightweight crème. So, if you are looking for lightweight formulations, this is not for you. This crème nourishes my skin and keeps it moisturized whole night. Every morning, I wake up with a radiant looking skin. But, I can see a layer of oil on my skin in the morning. The formula is moisturizing only for normal to dry skin. It is a perfect hydrating crème for me these days according to my skin requirements.
This is pretty safe to be used on my sensitive skin and does not cause any breakouts or skin ailments. So, this is a pro of this range. My skin reacts easily to facial crèmes. So, thankfully, this did not cause any such issues. I love the hydrating formula but I did not notice any significant brightening effects on my skin. So, it is a great product for dry skinned beauties.
