JOJOBA-Jojoba’s antimicrobial properties in addition to the chemical composition that closely resembles skin’s natural sebum, makes it easy to absorb and non-allergic even in the most sensitive individual.
This comes in a cream bronzy packaging with the shade name at the bottom. ‘Lotus herbals’ brand name is imprinted in golden fonts on the cap. It is a sturdy pack and closes with a click sound making it travel friendly.
The shade is coffee brown with a bit of pink undertones. It is a very dark shade and it is purely my mom’s choice of color but I tried it for the review. It looks good on me but I do not like wearing such dark shades. My mom loves wearing such shades and it does compliment my mother’s face so well. It does not have any shimmers. This shade is good for brown lovers. Needless to say this shade is not for college goers but mature ladies will like it very much. This shade is good for fall/winters.
Texture is smooth and easy to glide on with absolutely no tugging or pulling. It has a nice sheen to it when applied freshly. After an hour, it is neither drying nor moisturising. It is light weight and does not feel cakey or heavy on lips. If applied after lining the lips with a similar shade, it looks even better.
The pigmentation is great. It would cover pigmented lips very well. Single swipe is all you need to show up the color. It does transfer to cups etc. Staying power is for 3-4 hours without meals/drinks. After that it gets lighter.
It has a different kind of smell which is although very faint but sensitive noses will not like it.
So, overall, mature ladies can lay their hands on this one. It is a good shade, compliments Indian skin tone and is very light on pocket too.
