MAC Hey, Sailor! Blush Fleet Fast

mac fleet fast blush

After a really long time a MAC collection has caught my attention. I checked out Hey Sailor! Collection at the store last week and found almost everything worth picking up. The colors and the products in the collection are so worth checking out. You can check out the collection HERE

Price : Rs 1,400

I picked up a blush called Fleet Fast. It comes in a lovely navy packaging . The top is a see through with nautical stripes and golden lettering.  The blush is a gorgeous coral peach color with golden micro shimmer. The shimmers just gives that touch of glow to the cheeks without actually giving that ‘glittery’effect. I am soo impressed with this blush.

  • Pigmentation – fantastic. it’s just the right pigmentation where you can control the amount of color without going overboard and it’s not too light that it won’t show up.
  • The texture is very fine and the blush goes on smoothly.
  • It is a very buildable color and makes it great for light to soft dusky skin tones.
  • The staying power is fabulous. When I have foundation underneath it goes on for good 8 hours. And with just compact underneath, I can still see the soft gradation of color on my cheeks after 6 + hours.
  • It goes with most peachy and earthy toned blushes. Not too much with pink tones.
  • It’s a great day and night blush.

I highly recommend this blush. The only sad point is that it is a limited edition blush so you can only have it while it lasts.

I am wearing this blush in these pics as well HERE :

MAC Fleet fast vs MAC Fleur Power :  Fleet fast is pretty close to Fleur Power. Fleur power is a tad bit lighter than Fleet Fast. Both of them do belong to the same family though.

  1. hi rati, like this blush alot. it looks very good on you.
    nice pic
rati i have a request from you can you please show your makeup collection 😛
i think all imbb readers would love to see your collection.

    1. oh no. that is quite shimmery.. as in springsheen is a high sheen blush. the base color is slightly close but two very different blushes. this can easily be worn both during day and night.. and even to office 🙂

  2. Lovely shade, goes well with your skintone 🙂
Again my eyes go to your hair…envy envy jealous jealous
I think I will buy the LO shampoos this weekend, cant take it anymore 🙂

  3. i’ve wanted fleet fast ever since the sailor collection launched in the US…now im in two minds since it looks quite similar to fleur power which btw was my first mac blush:-)

  4. I don’t have blush from MAC, I only have a highlighter “Soft & Gentle”. But this luks good and nice pigmentation. Worth trying 🙂

  5. lovely one… in my must have list..i do not have any of now
which is the lipstick shade….so pretty…this lipstik goes so well with this blush..
wud this blush be good for office wear

  6. pretty blush..Rati I like your lip color.. which one is it?

Oh and btw did you change your nosepin?

I put my nosepin today after ages and thought it won’t get in ..but yayyyy 😀 😀 I managed to put it albeit with teary eyes.. :'(

    1. dipti this is estee lauder coral fantasy. 🙂 yeah i changed it to a clear one. 😀

i know changing nose pin always freaks me out but when it’s done it’s such a relief. 😛

olive – it’s the lipstick alone,

  7. Rati I had a gun shot piercing I don’t use the wired nosepin so it’s much easier to change that way.. but if you don’t use the nosepin for ages and then try putting it again then it becomes a task 🙂
