I have had this eyeliner even before Maybelline launched it in India, thanks to my sister in the States. I did not really get time to review it, but after I saw Rati’s swatches, I was actually inspired 😛 So, let’s head straight to the review.

My Experience with Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil Glossy Emerald:
The pencil came in a paper outer packaging. which I tossed it after opening. These pencils have color-coded bodies which honestly saves a lot of my time. The cap is a bit flimsy, but otherwise, no issues. The pencil is of a sharpenable form, which I personally like.
“Glossy Emerald” is a beautiful green color withblack undertones and loads of shimmer. The finish is shimmery and smooth. It adds a pop of color to my eyes without looking over the top.
The texture is unbelievably smooth and supeeer soft, trust me. It reminds me of the Silkissme ones from L’Oreal; very close. I did not have any problem with the tip breaking while application so far. It applies smoothly and never tugs. The pigmentation is also really good; one or two swipes and I am done. It looks good on its own or with a black liner for a pop of color.
It claims to last 16 hours, but I haven’t been with it for more than 10 hours so I cant really comment. It fades from my inner corners after 3 hours, which is pretty common in my case be it whatever liner. Otherwise it does not really smudge or smear at all. Overall, I really like it.

This would be a great green liner for the summer without making it look over the top. I totally recommend it.
