I always prefer bright colours when it comes to blushes. I have not entered the area of bronzing much and that is why I decided to pick this up. This looked like a great combo of blush and bronzer and this seemed like the most unique shade. Read to know how the mauve shade worked for me.

My Experience with Maybelline Facestudio Mauve Master Highlight Hi-Lighting Blush And Bronzer:
Packaging: The blush-cum-bronzer comes in a compact black packaging with a see-through lid. The lid opens and closes with a click. The powder is very light hence we need to be careful not to drop it. The shade of the blush is easily visible which makes it really easy to spot them. The circular pan is very handy hence can be carried around but I do not take the risk since it is very powdery. I could see a brush shown with this on the website, but I did not get it along. The price is good for a double duty product like this one.
Shade, texture and feel on the skin: The shade “Mauve” is a very beautiful and one of the most unique shades that I have seen. It is a perfect blend of super gorgeous shade where the mauve can be used as a blush, the bronzy copper one as a contour and the lightest one for highlighting. But I am not very good at creating such looks, so I just blend all three and swipe it on my cheeks. The shade turns up as a nice deep plum on my cheeks with a bronze coppery sheen which is great for the upcoming festive season. The shade is amazing and will complement all the skin-tones beautifully. The pigmentation is really good and it will show up in the first swipe itself; however we can build up the colour. The texture if powdery and a bit chalky too! It causes a little fall-out in the pan during application but on the skin it does not look chalky at all. It feels very light and weightless on the skin.
Results and staying power: The blush gives a very nice and a natural looking flush to my cheeks. It does not look made-up at all; in-fact it gives me those rosy cheeks like a doll. The blush has a very nice shimmering sheen which gives a highlighting effect to my cheeks. My cheeks glow beautifully and the glow stays on for long. The blush stays for 5-6 hours when applied over foundation. The colour intensity is the maximum during the initial hours but after a few hours it stays. It starts to fade after 5 hours. So in all, an awesome product to try out!
