So, I am back to product reviews and today, I am going to review an eyeshadow palette review from Maybelline. I found this palette “Glamorous Gold” to be very versatile since it has gold, copper and many more neutral shades. I have been using this since months, especially for weddings, and here’s the detailed review 🙂

My Experience with Maybelline Glamorous Gold Color Sensational Satin Eyeshadow Palette:
Packaging: I love how they have packaged this eyeshadow palette. It is petite, compact, and it is handy, what more would you want? It comes in a black packaging and the thing that I loved the most about is at the back, they have given a graphic detail of where to use which particular color in order to create a perfect smokey eye look, impressive! The case is compact and it’s travel friendly. There is a brush provided in the kit which is dual-sided, but it is pretty okay. It takes a while to pick up the colour, I would rather use some other eye makeup brush that I have in my kitty.
Shades: The top left corner shade is the lightest shade out of all. It can mainly be used as a base or as a highlighter. It is a soft beige shade with shimmers, but the pigmentation is not that great.
The top right corner shade is a pretty gold shade with a lot of shimmer that shows up very well on my eyes. I love using this shade as the base as it gives that metallic finish, which looks very classy. The bottom left corner shade is the prettiest out of all the shades on the palette. It is a gorgeous coppery bronze color which looks very pretty even if applied on its own as it has the maximum pigmentation. The bottom right corner shade is one more pretty shade which is brown with a metallic finish and full of shimmers which is mainly used as the darkest shade for smokey eyes.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation of the palette could have been a lot better. The shades are not very pigmented and since they are neutral shades, they blend into the skin. I have to swipe these shades quite a lot for them to show up on the skin.
The finish is really nice and metallic and the texture is not chalky at all. These shadows last for 5-6 hours on the eyes and does not smudge too much. The colors just gradually fade away but stay intact for a good amount of time. Overall, a good palette, but I have used better ones!

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Maybelline Glamorous Gold Color Sensational Satin Eyeshadow Palette?
I really liked the concept of 5 shades together, but I would rather buy big palettes as they have more shades and mainly are more pigmented. Just try it at the counter to see how you like it. I wish Maybelline comes out with more eyeshadow palettes like Makeup Revolution that have a lot of shade options and have good pigmentation too.
