Recently, I was searching for a good face powder and I came across this Milani Prep Set Glow illuminating Transparent Powder. So, let’s see how this product fared for me.

My Experience with Milani Prep + Set + Glow Illuminating Transparent Powder:
Milani Illuminating transparent powder comes in a beautiful matte black plastic compact. The compact has a see-through glass which specifies the name Milani Prep Set Glow Illuminating Transparent powder and you can see the powder inside. The compact doesn’t have any mirror. The packaging of the transparent powder is lightweight, sturdy and travel friendly. The packaging overall looks good.
Milani did a great job with this illuminating pressed powder. This formula is fantastic. The powder is transparent; however, it has an ivory kind of a shade. The powder is very finely milled and there are no glitter or shimmer particles. The glitter is so fine in this transparent powder that it doesn’t show on the face.
This powder gives a beautiful glow to the face. No matter how much powder I apply, it never looks cakey. The powder is transparent and doesn’t give a white cast. The powder didn’t give a flashback when I took flash a photo. This powder will work well with every skin tone.
The staying power of the Milani transparent powder is really good. It stays on my face for around 6 hours after which I see a bit of shining on my T-Zone. I do have to reapply the powder on my T-Zone. Since it has semi matte finish, it stays put on my oily skin without making it shiny. Overall, I really love the Milani illuminating transparent powder. It does set my concealer and foundation very well and gave me an overall healthy glow.
