Modern Indian Festive Makeup Look

Hi Everyone, 🙂
Here’s a new festive makeup look. It’s a peachy gold brown eye makeup with tomato red lips. From past few months I have not been doing liner + eyeshadow looks. I think I am enjoying that phase way too much and might have even started a trend along the way. 😛 But if you prefer to do an eyeliner with this look, do it definitely. Sometimes women feel bare without liner on their eyes mostly because they are so used to of seeing themselves with kajal. So do what suits you. 🙂 This is an easy to pull of eye makeup look – there’s peach gold on the lids and peachy matte brown eyeshadows in crease and lower lash line. And after doing this look last evening, I was thinking that if Sanjeev and I get married again this is the kind of makeup I’d do. 🙂 On lips is a tomatoey red lipstick. For this look I have also used pigments instead of eyeshadows to make the golds really pop. I’d really suggest that you give pigments a try. They are a bit messy but you don’t get that extreme pop with just shadows (unless you are using foiled). So that’s the look. You can wear this look with any outfit because it’s a neutral look and would go with just about anything. 🙂

  1. This seems like a very classy look to recreate. Love the perfect combo of eye color + lip color. I am also staying away from eyeliners and playing with eyeshadows more these days, and love it. I do not have a lot of pigments, gotta invest in a classic shade soon.

  2. I couldn;t see the pics earlier in the day in the post, so couldn’t comment Ms. Singh :* Bring on these amazing looks and I love this outfit as well – tomato red lips and foiled shadow look – so festiveeee :*
