I never wanted to purchase a lip liner till now. I am always skeptical about lip liners, you need to match the lipsticks and if they don’t match, the lips look awkward. Recently, when I was going through a beauty book, I read about transparent lip liners and I decided to buy one. I read that Essence 13 Transparent Lipliner was a dud and decided to buy a new one. I spotted MUA Anti Bleed ‘Clear’ Lip Liner and could not resist myself from picking it up. So, read on to know more about this lip liner.
MUA Intense Color Lip Liners – with a creamy and strong payoff, they are great to match to your lipstick, or wear alone. All come with a handy sharpener in the lid.
Hints and Tips: Use the Clear shade to match any lipstick!

My Experience with MUA Anti Bleed Clear Lip Liner:
I have never owned MUA products so I do not know how they fair but this ‘Anti Bleed’ lip liner caught my attention. I have dark, pigmented lips. As the day passes by, my lipstick starts to bleed and thus spreads below the lips. It is really not a good sight and thus I decided to pick this one up.
The product is a wooden pencil and the outer one is white in color and most of the times you can get confused with their white eyeliners. The product details are all in silver. The liner has a sharpener and is, thus, handy. It can be easily sharpened but the cap is a little flimsy. The product is transparent and has a wax like color. There is no color and when you draw the lines you cannot see it. Thus, this liner can be tricky.
You cannot correct the lines and any mistake will be seen after applying the lipstick. The product is soft and glides easily making it perfect to apply with ease. The product doesn’t leave any clumps on the lips and the product doesn’t fall. It doesn’t irritate the lips and helps you to get defined lips. Coming to its claim, the product does prevent the lipstick from bleeding. When the liner was applied, my lipstick stayed on for almost 8 hours without any bleeding or smudging.
The lips were defined and looked very natural. So, the liner lives up to its claims. The only downside of the anti-bleed liner is that when applied all over the lips it changes the color of the lipstick. It lightens the color and it can be clearly seen from the swatches. So the liner can be used only to draw the lines and not to fill in the lips completely. So, summing up:
Pros of MUA Anti Bleed Clear Lip Liner:
• Prevents bleeding of lipsticks
• Makes the lipstick stay in place for longer
• The product is transparent and can be used with any lipstick
• Gives a natural look to the lips
• Doesn’t irritate the lips
• Glides smoothly and doesn’t leave any clumps
• Reasonably priced
Cons of MUA Anti Bleed Clear Lip Liner:
• Changes the color of the lipstick lightly
