MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Cornflower Blue Review

You may ask me what has gotten into me recently what with the constant stream of eyeshadow reviews. Well, as I said I had very few eyeshadows and I really wanted to have most of the common shades in my kitty. I had the opportunity to get some stuff from MUA so I got this eyeshadow alongwith other shades.

My Experience with MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Cornflower Blue:

MUA single eyeshadows have a cute and simple packaging.  This eyeshadow comes in a round pot with a transparent lid. The packaging is sturdy, but carrying it along on travels might not be a very good idea as the glass on the lid might break. There is no applicator provided with this eye shadow. The quantity of the product is amazing for its price. At the back of the pan, the ingredient list is printed.

Have you seen a blue this beautiful? “Cornflower Blue” is a gorgeous pearly sky blue shade. Casual look or party makeup, this shade is a multi-tasker. You won’t be able to stop staring at this beautiful shade.

The eyeshadow has a powdery creamy texture. It applies smoothly and does not crease. It is easily blendable. It does not feel chalky or gritty. It is easy to apply the shadow on the eyelids with fingers and also makeup brushes. There is little to no fallout and that keeps the application process mess free.

The color payoff of this MUA shadow is really good. A single swipe gives good coverage on the eyes.  The staying power of this eyeshadow is average. As I am not yet into eye primers, this one stayed on my non-oily lids for a good 3.5-4 hours without a primer. For the price, it has decent staying power and that too without a primer.
