I am so excited for this post since I will be reviewing my very first Nars Blush! Technically its my 3rd one but first to be reviewed on IMBB, oh yeah I love this baby so much!
So please give a big round of applaud to the stunning Nars Mata Hari blush! Mata Hari is described as Rose petal pink with a race of crimson! For those of you who don’t know Nars blushes are some of the best blushes in the makeup world and highly raved everywhere!
The ultimate authority in blush, NARS offers the industry’s most iconic shades for cheeks. Natural, healthy-looking color that immediately enlivens the complexion. A light application of even the highest-intensity hues delivers a natural-looking flush.
-> Silky texture in matte and shimmering shades
-> Micronized powder ensures soft, blendable application
-> Iconic NARS shades
My experience with Nars Mata Hari Blush :
Nars blushes come in huge variety of shades, I believe 28 in all. All Nars blush come in the standard nars black box packaging and the blush itself comes in a rubber packaging as you can see in the picture. Now I absolutely hate the rubber packaging since it attracts dirt very easily and looks messy! For the price and quality Nars should definitely change the rubber packaging!
The blush Mata Hari is described as Pink with a race of crimson. In simple language its a gorgeous pink with strong purple undertones! This is by far my favorite pink blush and to say that I have found my HG pink blush would not be over stating! Ok let me explain why!
I have strong and by strong I mean jaundice strong yellow undertones with natural redness on cheeks! Oh yeah just yesterday I asked my hubby if I look like I got jaundice since I was looking more yellow than ever! I find it difficult to carry blushes with red undertones since they enhance my natural redness on cheeks which is not pretty!
Mata Hari blush has perfect amount of purple undertone which compliments my yellow undertones beautifully! You see the contrast here? The texture of nars blushes is buttery and they go on the skin beautifully! Nars Mata Hari is completely 100% matte blush so its perfect for oily to combination skin types. Nars is known for highly pigmented blushes and this one is no exception! Its highly pigmented and just a dab of brush is enough to cover your entire cheek!
The lasting power is phenomenal! It stays on like forever! Easily 8 to 9 hours without fading! I wore it at around 10 in the morning and it was still present at 9 in the night though faded a little but thats 11 hours straight and that too in this humid climate! Very impressed!
Overall a must have blush and I highly recommend it to everyone! You need this!
