Packaging: The packaging of these liquid lipsticks is very luxurious and sophisticated. These lippies have an outer black matte cardboard box with the product details, ingredient list and the shade name at the bottom. The actual lipstick itself comes housed in a rectangular black tube with transparent windows which makes it easier to spot the actual lipstick shade. The Powermatte Lip Pigments have a narrow, pointed doe foot applicator which simplifies tracing the edges of the lips without any difficulty. I am in love with the look and feel of this product; it looks very classy yet modern.

Shades: There are totally 20 colors in this range with a wide spectrum of colors, which range from low-key neutrals to pitch-black. I felt that there are many bold shades in this range like a dark berry, vampy maroon, deep brown, bright red and a cool purple. I also think that most of the shades are universally flattering. “Done It Again” is a beautiful deep dark warm brown with a slight grey undertone. This is a true brown without any mix of red or orange. Another interesting fact is that NARS has named all its lip pigments based on classic rock songs which is just cool.

Formula: The formula of these is pretty different; they have a gel-like formula that makes applying the color evenly a lot easier. The consistency on this lippie is very liquidy than most liquid lipsticks and feels all the more runny while application but this factor makes it easy to spread it around on the lips as it glides like butter. This lipstick has an amazing pigmentation which gives maximum opacity in a single coat. The lipstick takes a few minutes to dry down to a powder matte finish which looks amazing on the lips without accentuating dry patches or lip lines.

The lipstick feels very flexible and comfortable and feels like nothing on the lips. This product is kiss-proof and almost transfer-proof, though it fades a little after food. Since it has a thin consistency, the reapplication of the product is very easy and it layers seamlessly and lies well on the top of former applications without looking streaky or patchy.

Longevity: The longevity of this lipstick is pretty good; it lasts a good ten hours with minimal fading and looked almost new at the end of the day.

Overall, this is one of the best liquid lipsticks available in the market which outshines in terms of performance and quality. Already I reviewed the shade “Rock With You” from this range which was a HIT. Actually, my sister got this shade but I also loved the color so much, so I thought to try this first before buying it but now I am pretty sure I am going to get this one as well.
