Claims :A duo of contouring blush shades to create natural-looking dimension for the face with a lightweight luminous finish. A deeper shade enhances definition while a lighter shade illuminates the high points of the face.

Tips : To create a beautiful sculpted cheek, apply the deeper shade of the Contour Blush to the hallow of the cheek with the Contour Brush #21. Using the Blush Brush #20, sweep the lighter shade across the cheekbone towards the temple to soften and highlight. Finish the look with a pop of your favorite Blush shade on the apples of the cheek. – Shayna Shapiro, Lead Trainer This palette is simple and straightforward- the ultimate tool for perfecting your sculpt, contour and highlight technique.–Aisha Alves, Lead Trainer

My Experience with NARS Talia Contour Blush Duo
I am so excited to share today’s product with you all. My love for NARS contour colors go long back. I have finished using two of NARS Laguna palettes. I have NARS Casino that does not excite me much but I still use it sometimes. These days NARS Talia is totally a new obsession and I just cannot stop using it. It’s a duo powder meant to be used as a contour and a highlight. Both are matte powders. These contour blush duos are available in 5 shades depending on your skintone – Gienah, Melina, Olympia, Paloma, Talia.

The light powder is peachy skin-toned color. It almost does not show up on my skin as a highlighter. It is pretty much my skintone and I use it as a face powder for myself. But the star of this palette is the bronzing color. It is a weird shade of taupe brown with greyish undertones (check swatches below). It’s so perfect for contouring and the greyishness totally helps in creating the most real looking contour shade. The powders are really finely milled and go very smooth on the skin. I’d call them medium pigmented and I totally like that because they can be built up to strong colors. You can create a deep dark natural looking shadow using the contouring color.  The contour color does not oxidize or turn orangey. It is very long lasting. It stays on all day long on my skin – say 7-8 hours. The packaging is this gorgeous matte but it catches a lot of finger prints. And honestly, it starts looking dirty after a while. It comes with a big mirror on the inside. Totally useful one. It has never broken me out. It is great for all skin types. It does not have fragrance. It goes on smoothly on skin and does not get patchy. This shade is great for those with light to medium skin tones. It is available in various colors so there is something available for everyone. Highly recommend it. 🙂
