My Experience with Natio Ageless Organic Rosehip Oil:
Facial oils seem to be trending nowadays and almost everyone on Instagram or YouTube is raving about the benefits of facial oils – take for example, Farsali Rose Gold Elixir. I have always wanted to try oil-based rose facial oil and I got a chance to try out one from Natio and I was super excited! I’ve heard so many benefits of rosehip oil that I couldn’t resist.
This oil comes in a dark tinted glass bottle. It has a pump dispenser which dispenses just a wee more bit of product than required for one-time use. Since the bottle is made of glass, you have to be careful while handling. The bottle is tiny and safe to carry around when traveling. The pump doesn’t leak, so it is mess free.
The oil is an amber-coloured liquid. It is lightweight and of runny consistency. It smell of herbs, also has a woody scent to it. I don’t find it pleasing or soothing, but it doesn’t bother me either. Yes, I did expect it to smell better but that’s okay.It stays for sometime and then fades away.
The way I apply it, I take a pump of the oil and warm it up between the palms and then press it on to my damp face to let it sink into my skin. I dab my palms on my neck too because you should take care of your neck the same way as your facial skin. Then, I start massaging my face in an upward direction for about 30 seconds and let it be. I also apply the remaining oil on the backs of my hands. It spreads easily and doesn’t impart an oily cast, but if you go overboard, then yes, skin feels slightly greasy. Women with dry skin can apply it during day time as well. Normal and oily skin can make use it only at night time, before hitting bed.
I’ve been using this oil religiously for quite some time now. It doesn’t show dramatic results, but kind of works like ayurvedic treatments. It takes time to show results. I don’t use this in the mornings because I don’t have the patience. I use it at night before going to bed.
Since I have combination skin, I have an oily T-zone, but when I use this, my face looks oil free. My skin looks healthy and this oil adds a glow to my face. My skin looks healthy and slightly plump. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized. It doesn’t break me out. I really like using it because my skin looks and feels better. It makes my skin supple and smooth. There aren’t any tiny little bumps on my face now and my blemishes have disappeared too. I am using this facial oil along with Patanjali Soundarya Kesar Aloe Vera gel and think both are working well for my skin. I use that product after this oil gets completely absorbed into the skin.

Yes, it’s a nice oil to incorporate into your skin care routine. Yes, it doesn’t show dramatic results immediately, so you have to be patient with it, but it gives my face a very unmatched glow that I love. So yes, I’ll be repurchasing this as soon as I finish this one up.
