Hope all of you are doing great. Today, I will be reviewing one of the latest brands of lipsticks that I have added to my humble collection of makeup. It’s NYC liquid lipstick in Liz. NYC is one of the world-renowned brands in the makeup world and I have been dying to try one of them out for like so long. So, here it is.

$0.99 for 1.7 gm.

My Experience with New York Color Liquid Lipstick in Liz:

I love the click-pen style transparent packaging; it looks adorable. This particular shade is a rose petal pink with plum undertones and no shimmers. This shade is well pigmented. The color is build able but single swipe is enough to get the right amount of color on the lips. Though it comes out glossy, yet it gives a very sheen, creamy look.  It is non-sticky and so does not feel heavy on the lips. However, it does have the tendency to bleed a bit, but I am willing to ignore that, considering how great the color is. I am a huge fan of pink lipsticks you see!!! 😉 😀

The applicator is a brush applicator with very soft bristles which makes it effortless to apply.

The shade number and name is printed on the body of the product. It is very moisturizing, as it claims and stays put on my lips for 3-5 hours maximum, depending on what you eat and the smell is very fruity-strawberry kind which I love.

I feel that this shade will look good on any complexion and is apt for everyday wear. It will also hide pigmented lips I feel.

Pros of New York Color Liquid Lipstick in Liz:

• Decent staying power.
• Affordable.
• Very moisturizing.
• This particular shade is suitable for any complexion.
• Very soft applicator.
• Perfect for both day and night wear.
• Great packaging.
• Does not settle into fine lines.
• Will not bleed.

Cons of New York Color Liquid Lipstick in Liz:

• Availability is a big issue.
• If too much of the color comes out, it is not possible to put some back because once the product is twisted rightwards to squeeze out the color, it cannot be twisted back. So one has to be very careful.
• List of ingredients is not mentioned.
• It transfers easily which is a bummer.

Do I recommend New York Color Liquid Lipstick Liz?

Yes, if you love pinkish plumy shades and the concept of liquid lipsticks.

Will I Repurchase New York Color Liquid Lipstick Liz?

Yes, I will definitely be trying out other shades from this range, may be a bit brownish shades this time.
