As I mentioned in my last post, I hoard many lip balms in my bag during winters and moisturizing tinted lip balms are always my first pick. I have used Nivea fruit shine lip balm some years back and recently when I bought a Nivea body lotion, I got this lip balm as free gift with that and I was supper happy, as we all love free gifts more than the main product we have bought.

My Experience with Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm:
Nivea Fruit shine lip balm in Strawberry looks orangey red in color. In tube, you can also see some small shimmer particles in it, but these shimmers go unnoticeable when applied on lips. On lips, it looks less red, as it is not highly pigmented. It glides effortlessly on my lips and gives it a nice shine with some red tint, but when applied more, it tends to bleed, and gives very oily look to lips. I have also used it on matte lip pencils and that way, it gives a nice effect of gloss to lips. It has a faint smell of strawberries which does go away after application.
Talking about the moisturization, it is moisturizing and the moisture stays for 3 hours without eating. The color also stays for that long. It is moisturizing but not hydrating. Having said that, it can keep normal lips soft but it’s not an intensive lip treatment for chapped lips. In totality, I feel it’s a good choice as a good moisturizing tinted lip balm.
Pros of Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm:

- It has a nice red tint which is not very pigmented, gives natural look to lips.
- No shimmer visible on the lips.
- Affordable.
- Scent is not bothering.
- Tube packaging, easy to use and carry around.
Cons of Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm:
- Bleeds if swiped many times.
- Moisturizing but not hydrating lip balm.
Final Verdict on Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm:
Looking for an affordable tinted lip balm which is moisturizing, then this one is the best bet. School girls will like this too.

I have this one.. I loved it.. both the colour and the taste.. yum yum! But suddenly it started giving me allergies.. too sensitive lips I have u see. 🙁
This once worth buying ..it gives u gloss..lipstick wali feeling stil an lip balm…must for all…this is my 2 one..
i use this…. i like it more because whenever i apply it again in every 1.5 hrs (as i eat those :P) it gives that strawberry color which i like… i don’t like reapplying lip balm or anything.. but the new color it gives when applied again is amazing… and btw i also got that as a free item from nivea lotion.. 😀

I used the strawberry flavoured one. It is yack… terrible *waaa* . It doesnt moisturize at all. No colour visible on lips. it acts as a wax deposit on lips which you feel like viping away ASAP.
Very bad product. Plz dont use this and waste ur money. *nonono*
I too bought this lipbalm…itz like applying wax onto the lips..when ever i applied i jus wipped off unabl tu bear the irritation..plz dnt buy this product
