My Take on Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry and Raspberry Lip Balm:

I have always been in love with Nivea lip balms because of their moisturising effect, texture and the lovely sheen it gives to the lips. When I saw this lip balm at an online store, I couldn’t resist myself from ordering it and I am so glad I ordered.

This lip balm comes in the regular packaging like all Nivea lip balms. It comes in a twist-up tube. The stick of this lip balm is so pretty. It has marbled appearance and has pink and red swirls. I have never seen such swirls on any lip balm.

Vitamin Shake 5

The fragrance of this lip balm is a blend of cranberry and raspberry. It is not at all overpowering, but is subtle and lingers on the lips for about half an hour. The fragrance is one of the best things about this lip balm.

When applied, this lip balm gives a very light pinkish tint.  The tint is almost invisible on my lips, but gives a beautiful satin finish and healthy glow to my lips. It doesn’t hide pigmentation of lips. It glides on my lips very smoothly and effortlessly and is very creamy. It provides decent moisturisation like other Nivea lip balms. The moisturising effect stays on my lips for 3-4 hours. It softens the lips and helps in healing of chapped lips. This lip balm also has SPF 10 in it and claims to have vitamins C and E and Pro-vitamin B5. This lip balm has a tendency to melt, like other Nivea lip balms and so, should be stored in refrigerators in summers.

  1. I haven’t seen this in stores around me 🙁
I love nivea lip balms… I want this one too… Which site have u bought it from? And lovely review 🙂

  2. Packing makes me want to pick this up. But somehow it does not work on my drrryyy lips. Lotus herbalist works bbest for me.

  3. I bought it three months ago and am so much in love with it <3
As Rati said, so hard to not eat this lollipoppy thing! 😀

  4. i have been using this for three weeks now. initially i really loved it. but over a period of time it has started drying my lips out. either that or the weather’s changing in Mumbai. whatever it is, i need to stop using it and reach out for maybelline baby lips. but as my luck has it, its out of stock EVERYWHERE! 🙁

  5. Thanks for the review. I am looking for some tinted lip balm so I guess I should skip this for now. Though review seems pretty cool.
