My Experience with Nivea Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Smoothing Mask:

My friend uses Nivea Q10 day cream and she brags a lot about the product. I have been thinking about buying anti-ageing creams, but yet to find the right one. So when I came across the mask, I picked it up without thinking twice.

sachet

The packaging is similar to all the other Nivea masks; the mask comes in a sachet with 2 pouches containing 7.5 ml each and each is good for using 2 times instead of a single time. The product is thick and creamy and has an off white color with a light yellow hue. It smells similar to the Q10 range from Nivea.

The cream can be spread easily all over the face and neck and it sits on the skin like a thin coat. After 10-12 minutes, I started feeling that I had oily residue. I checked in the mirror and it was like I have just smeared my face with a lot of oil. I have combination skin and too much oil is not good. Anyway, the oil stayed and after about 20 minutes I started to feel a little tightness in my face and when I tried to remove it with a tissue/cotton pad, it was really tough to get rid of the oil. I had to use several tissues to remove the oil. Maybe using a towel would be easier but I didn’t prefer it. After removing, there was a light greasy residue. So it is preferable that you wear the mask at night and the residue will act as a moisturizer. This is a boon for dry skinned beauties considering the hydration it provides, but it caused me blackheads (which turned to pimples eventually) the very next day, so I am not sure of the continued usage and if it is suitable for all skin types.

swatch

There is no fresh feeling on the skin but you can clearly see a glow and smoothened, supple skin right after the first use which was really great. I am sure with the long use of the product, there are some benefits but not at the cost of getting pimples. I would like to use the product again and see if I get the pimples again and will keep you updated on the same.
So summing up,

Pros of Nivea Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Smoothing Mask:

• Easily spreads.
• Smells pleasant.
• Travel friendly packaging.
• Hydrates the skin and makes it look smooth and supple.
• Boon for dry skinned beauties.

Cons of Nivea Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Smoothing Mask:

• Leaves a greasy residue.
• Very hard to remove the product.
• Caused blackheads the very next day after using it.

IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
