This is the fourth NYX Nude Matte Shadow I bought as a part of my Ulta haul, and I am not really happy with this particular color. Read further to know about it.

My Take on NYX Craving Nude Matte Shadow:
Packaging:
I love the packaging. It is smaller than my MAC mono eye shadows; the product comes in a nice, little, shiny black case. A clear window shows the product and has NYX Nude Matte Eye shadow printed in black fonts. On the back is an ingredients sticker that also tells the name of the color. These are quite small, but the outer packaging is wider/taller than my Urban Decay single eye shadows.
Texture:
It is a powder – compact eye shadow set in a circular, aluminum pan and has very smooth texture and is easy to apply. It has a matte finish but has surprisingly negligible fall out and unlike the other matte shadows, this is easier to pick up even during dry application. It picks up generous amount of product in single sweep and gives a good color pay off.
Color:
It is a soft grey color with cool undertones. For fair and cooler skin tones, it could be a good transition color while applying darker colors on the lid.
Pigmentation:
The pigmentation is really good for a matt eye shadow. One sweep picks up a good amount of product with minimal fall out, and gives good color intensity. It can be applied with a damp brush if one desires, but that is not essential for good color payoff.
Application:
I use it in my crease as a transition color while applying darker color on my lid. It is easy to blend, removes any harsh lines and gives a good professional finish to eye makeup.
Wear Time:
8 to 9 hours and maybe more, but I removed it after that. But it did stay put during the entire duration I wore it. One can increase the wear time if one uses a primer or a white eye shadow underneath.
Conclusion:
This is a very good product for the money paid – even though I am not a big fan of this particular shade, I bought 4 shadows from this range and all of them are unique shades. I prefer palettes since they occupy lesser space, but the colors were so irresistible that I had to try out these shadows.

Would I Repurchase NYX Craving Nude Matte Shadow?
No, because it will last me big time but I am planning to buy all the colors from this range since they perform so well and are so easy on my pocket too. This range from NYX is worth a try!
