Today’s review will be on a Lip Lacquer Pot from NYX. I bought two of these. Let us get started with the review.

My Experience on NYX LLP 08 Night In Manhattan Lip Lacquer Pot:
Packaging:
This cute little baby comes in a plastic pot with a black lid with NYX written on it. The sticker on the side contains the list of ingredients and the sticker at the bottom has the shade name and code printed on it. The tub is cute and looks pretty. It is travel friendly too.
Color/Pigmentation:
‘Night In Manhattan’ is a very beautiful caramel color. It has shimmers in it that looks good on the lip when a little bit is applied. The pot almost looks like a creamy eye shadow pot. I like to use this as a gloss on top of my lipstick. But on its own, it looks okay-ish on my pigmented lip.
Texture:
The texture is very creamy, just like semi-melted butter. It looks like white chocolate ganache to me. It moisturizes my lips well and it feels really soft and silky when you purse your lips, even though it has shimmer in it. It is just slightly sticky but that ensures it does stay on your lips for longer.
Staying Power:
It stays on my lips for 3 hours. It fades quickly with meals. It keep my lips hydrated a bit, even after it fades. It also provides enough moisture to my lips for 3-4 hours, even after I have removed the product.

- Makes your lips look a bit plump.
- Silky smooth texture.
- Moisturizes the lips.
- Good to tone down any bright lipstick.
Cons of NYX LLP 08 Night In Manhattan Lip Lacquer Pot:
- Would not look good on its own on pigmented lips.
- Expensive.

First look at it, and I though it’s a gel eyeliner. Not a fan of the shade, great that it makes lips look plump.
The pot looks so cute. I wish it was a little more pigmented.
Packaging and color apt for a shade for the eyes. Any other color in this range with the pros would be nice to opt for myself 🙂
