NYX recently launched their new lipstick range called the ‘Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream’. The shade I picked up is called ’06 Pop Quiz’, and here is its review.

My Experience with NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream 06 Pop Quiz:
NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream 06 Pop Quiz comes housed in a squeezy tube with a unique applicator. The applicator is a puff, through which the product comes out when you squeeze the tube. The names of the brand and product are printed on the tube and more details are printed on the back of the tube. The tube is colour-coordinated, which makes finding the shade you want really easy.
The texture of NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream is very different from any lip product I have used. The colour is not as saturated as one would wish and it needs several swipes to give full opacity. NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Cream has a weird oil slip which bothers me for a while; I don’t mind it that much after some time.
There are 8 colours to choose from and I picked up a reddish plum shade which will look good on every skin tone. This lip cream is supposed to dry down to a powdery matte finish but it has a slight oiliness instead. It also transfers a lot, but since it stains my lips, I do get 5 to 6 hours of wear time.
The applicator is quite fluffy, which makes it really hard to get precise application. Because of the oiliness this lip product feels slightly uncomfortable on my lips. I do like the colour but I don’t like the formula of this lip cream. I would not repurchase it or pick up any more shades from this range.

If you don’t mind the oiliness, then yes. Otherwise, there are better options in the market.
