Hello sweeties,
How are you all? As you all know, December was the month when we had loads of big fat Indian weddings. It’s one of those occasions when we get to wear traditional dresses. And I always request people to get married so that I can create some lovely traditional outfits 😛 I wore this for a wedding that I attended.
I was really tired and when I have no time to choose an outfit, I pick black! Black looks amazing at any point of time, for any occasion.
This anarkali dress is a long end and it ends almost around my ankle. The dress is a mix and match of a lot of different styles and materials. There’s georgette for the dress, some gold borders here and there, green jamevaram borders for the back and borders, a different style for the sleeves, and last but not the least – a beautiful hand work done with a gold wire. I totally loved the idea of how they clubbed everything together.
I kept the accessories minimal – just some pearl earrings and gold sparkly heels because I wanted the dress to be the attraction. If I added jewellery, it would totally look overdone. For makeup, I picked Maybelline BB cream, L’Oreal The Minerals True Match Mineral Powder Foundation, Lotus Colorkick Kajal and Essence lip liner in Red Blush.
