Outfit of the Day: Anarkali Suit with Bling Accessories
Hi Girlies,

How have you been? As you all know, it is a season of marriages with music, dance and glitter all around. Even I went to attend one of my cousin’s wedding last weekend. Till date, I used to keep it simple and sober on marriages, but this time on my cousins’ persuasion, I pushed my limits and went on for complete ethnic attire with all the dazzling accessories along.
So here I am, dressed in an anarkali suit with a fusion of carrot red and purple color in it. Personally, I love bright colors, hence this combination. The zarkan work in purple, gold and copper add to the brightness of this dress. Though this was a readymade suit, I had asked my tailor to add the net sleeves with the alternate strip pattern in the same color combination at the sleeve end. I think it added an extra oomph factor to it.

I paired the dress with mid heels in purple. Formerly, I bought red high heels to go with this attire, but since I was wearing high heels for the ‘shagun’ and ‘sangeet’ ceremonies as well, I thought of forbidding my feet of the exhausting pain. 😉
All my accessories, add more and more glitter to the look.
The round hanging earrings have golden stones with a dollop of purple in the middle. Instead of wearing a neck piece, I have added a brooch on the duppatta with golden and copper tones in it.
The ring I am wearing is an artistic piece of red and golden kundan work (I prefer large sized rings). Lastly, the square bangles are my current love for their shape and classy stone work.
So, that is it. My first ethnic appearance amidst the relatives gathered a lot of praises at the end of the day 😛
Hope you like it as well.
Until next time, stay in style!
