Outfit of The Day: The Spring Spirit

Yellow is a big trend this spring and it was all over runway during the Spring Summer New York Fashion Week. From Michael Kors to Nanette Lepore, almost every designer included this warm and energizing shade in their SS 2015 collection. Neon yellow can be an intimidating color for some people to style in day to day outfits, but trust me when I say this, step out in this color and you will be the talk of town.

Personally, I love yellow color. It reminds me of the sunny afternoons of Rajasthan where I grew up and brings a smile to my face. It is the perfect shade to welcome spring and what better outfit to do that than a Maxi dress. A flowey, comfortable maxi dress is a must-have for spring and summers.

I wore this outfit in New Orleans where I went the past weekend to relax. New Orleans is a fun little town which is as crazy as it can get (in a good way). To keep up the spring spirit, I styled my dress with green wedges and accessories. I think green and yellow complement each other just so well.

The green and gold details make this outfit really vibrant and perfect for a walk down the riverfront in a sunny afternoon.
