Since I have used the shampoo from this range, I have been eyeing the conditioning spray oil. On my recent visit to the mall, I made sure that I pick this up. With the onset of winters, I prefer oiling my hair a bit more compared to the oily greasy summer days. Also, the spray bottle for oil is something that aroused my curiosity and I gave in. Read on to know how it fared.
Palmers’ olive oil formula with Vitamin E, conditioning spray oil, conditions hair and scalp, keeps braids soft and shiny. Natural extra virgin olive oil loaded with vitamins A, B and E and antioxidants to surround each hair strand with protection from damaging free radicals. Instantly restores moisture to dry hair. Excellent for braids to keep them soft and shiny.
The oil comes in a light green plastic bottle which has sticker on both sides with the required information and the naming. The spray nozzle is protected with a transparent cap which tightly fits and hence there is no chance of spillage. The product comes out through the spray nozzle which is good enough to control the amount of product.
Rs. 475/- for 150 ml.
My Experience with Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Conditioning Spray Oil:
Just as I said, I had been eyeing this since I picked up the shampoo, but I wanted to try out the shampoo before giving in all at once. Now that I had a pretty nice experience with the shampoo, I thought of buying the oil as well. The spray bottle packaging for oil is quite unique and I must admit that, for lazy people like me, this is definitely a boon. There are days when I skip oiling only to avoid running my fingers through my hair, but with this, life is lot easier now. Spray the required amount onto hair and scalp and just comb through, as simple as that. Though the oil looks green in color, on the palm, it is a transparent liquid.
One thing that requires special mention is the smell. Just because I have a sensitive nose, I feel the smell is a bit overpowering; nothing that will cause headache, but definitely a strong floral smell, very typical in market available hair oils, but when it gives the smoothest hair, all such minor cons can be ignored. With this oil on, you will not be able to go out as it is a heavy oil; not in terms of feel but in terms of look. If you have super curly frizzy hair, you might try a spray on, but I will never go out as it immediately flattens my hair.
I keep this overnight and shampoo off the next day. I am left with super smooth, healthy, shining hair. The days when I put this on before shampoo, I can dare to skip the conditioner, yes, it is as good as that. The price is a bit on the higher side, but when your product delivers results, you really don’t mind shelling out, do you? I don’t!
