My Experience with Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Illuminating Powder Duo:
This powder comes in a very unique packaging compared to what we have seen before. It comes in a dome-shaped packaging with a partition in middle where there is one shade for the overall face and one to contour. There’s also a little brush inside, the bristles of which are very soft. This brush comes in very handy for on-the-go application.
The texture of this powder is very fine, it is not chalky or gritty at all. It is very finely milled and hence gives a flawless finish. The finish is very light on the skin, which is perfect for summers. It does not irritate my skin as it is hypoallergenic. I usually use it over foundation and at times, it looks great even without makeup foundation underneath.
This loose powder instantly perks up my face and looks really amazing. It makes my skin look flawless and also covers the imperfections to a great extent. It will not provide full coverage but a loose powder providing medium coverage is also great. It is an illuminating powder which is why it brings a nice glow on my face which looks really healthy. The concept that they have made of two shades did not really work because the shades look the same so there is no sculpting effect created even when I use both the shades. The second shade should have been darker. I just used it on my face in an overall manner and it works perfectly fine! Overall, this powder did a really good job 🙂
