Hair Type: Dry frizzy wavy to curly hair
Today, I have my very first professional sort of a hair dryer which was a gift from my husband. We bought it from an electronic store in Pune and those days I had no clue hair dryers could be as expensive as 4000 bucks. But this has been going strong and I love this hair dryer because it has not given me any issues so far. Apart from this, I also own another Braun hair dryer which I had selected as a purchase from my IMBB points scheme.

My Experience with Remington Model D3700 Dual Turbo 2000W Hair Dryer:
This claimed on the box that this delivers professional results in a more silent way. I totally agree to the fact that this is a silent dryer despite being heavy duty and 2000w. This comes with a nozzle to blow dry your hair straight or without it, you could quickly dry your hair in a jiffy. There is no diffuser provided, which is the reason I bought the Braun one recently. The hair dryer comes with three heat setting. The highest heat setting is ideal when you really want salon-like styles. This adds a lot of heat to my hair where I can smell my hair burn, using a heat protectant is a must.
The second speed setting is fine for me when I really want outward curls or more polish to my hair. I use this with a big barrel round brush with boar bristles and I achieve semi-straight hair in my case which is brilliant. The best part about the dryer is that turbo button. It gives a boost to your hair when you want a quick dry result. The cool shot button need not be kept pressed, it works opposite to the turbo one. But it does not really give me cooler or neutral air, so the cool shot button is something that is disappointing for me about this dryer.
The best way I use it for my daughter or myself, is to use it on lowest heat, on the turbo setting for a fast 80% dry hair look. Then, I go ahead with a hair styling cream and a barrel brush to tame my volume. If you want volume, toss your hair forward upside down, and brush through while blow drying. I have used this for longer minutes, more than 3-5, and it has never heated up too much.
The mesh at the back can be opened and cleaned, but beware, I once caught my hair hair in the mesh at the back while the hair dryer was running.

- No diffuser attachment.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Remington Model D3700 Dual Turbo 2000W Hair Dryer?
Yes, I will, this may not be extremely salon-like, but works great for me.
