I just got a hair dryer, yippie, its the Philips HP8200. This is my second hair dryer. For the past few days, I was surfing through a few online stores to pick one hair dryer based on reviews from IMBB. I finally picked up the Philips one. It has the EHD technology (even heat distribution) and has the cool shot button along with the concentrator. Its of 1600 W. Let’s check out some of the hair dryer options and if you have not picked out a hair dryer yet, you can use this post to arrive at a conclusion.

Has cool, warm and hot settings. It switches off automatically, so no overheating. You can also adjust the airflow – I for drying short hair and II for drying/styling long hair.

2 Speed Settings. 2 Heat Settings. Tangle-free 1.8 m Cord. Turbo Function. Consumes 1000 W Power, though its a little slower than other hair dryers, its good for styling hair. There is no cool shot button here.

Its a pink coloured hair dryer with 1000 W, tangle-free cord, 3 speed settings, and cool shot button. It takes an average of 7 to 10 minutes to dry towel-dried hair. It makes the hair bouncy. It comes with a concentrator nozzle.

It says its specially designed for Asian hair, 1600 W, Six flexible speed and temperature settings for full control, cool shot button to seal in shine. EHD+ technology for more protection and shinier results. Thermoprotect for a constant caring temperature of 55°C. This dryer works on EHD+ technology which ensures that heat is always distributed evenly, even at high temperatures to prevent damaging hot spots. This hair dryer also has “Thermoprotect” that makes sure that the dryer gets switched off automatically once it’s over heated, this helps to ensure no hair damage due to overheating. This black hair dryer uses 2000 W power, has concentrator attachment. It has 2 speed and 3 heat settings. It contains the ion formula for frizz-free and shiny hair. There is a cool shot button. An added feature is the diffuser attachment which adds volume and bounce to the hair. Comes with a warranty of 2 years.

Comes with a concentrator nozzle, 1000 W power, 2 heat/speed settings, gives salon compact hair. Its a bit slow at work with its 1000 W power, but its a good hair dryer nevertheless.
