Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Cherry Tart
A lot of times there’s a lot of hype for a particular prodct and when I actually get it its all blahhhhh but the lip butters from Revlon is one thing that 99% of the females are loving and I’m telling this right at the beginning of this review- If you find them- buy them on the spot!!!! don’t think! when I go one and used it on me- I know I had to get at least on more!
Revlon says: Buttery Balm + Shiny Color
Buttery balm with beautiful shiny color to give you baby soft, healthy glowing lips 94% of women felt lips were softer, smoother, and instantly hydrated.

Shade I have: .
Cherry tart is a great cherry-strawberry type color which brightens the face.
I’m a serious lip balm addict and I have them scattered everywhere… 1 on the coffee table, 1 in the drawer, 1 each in all my purses etc etc 🙂 when I heard about these I got one just on a whim, and then 2 days later, I got another one! They are super creamy, super soft and even look great with nothing else on your face. The packaging sports quilted design on the translucent tube. the tube corresponds to the colour inside. At the top of the cap, thereís a clear window so you can see exactly the colour of the lippie. Also, Revlon’s obsession with micro shimmers continues as these balms have serious shimmers 🙂 As we saw with the lip gloss and foundations, Revlon has included the microshimmers in its latest collection in everything I guess 🙂 The shimmer is subtle and not gritty so it does’nt hurt the lips so that is a good thing. The hand swatches were not doing any justice to the product so trying on the lips is very important.
Yays:
– Very creamy.
– There are about 20 shades varying from pigmented to sheer.
– The micro shimmer looks lovely specially in the sun.
– sets better on the lips than a lipstick.
– Lasts longer than an average lip butter. typically 2-3hrs.
– Absolutely Hydrating
Nays:
– Melts very easily in the sun.
– overtime will spread over the silver tube when you apply.
– IMO $8 is a bit steep for it… I will wait for a BOGO sale next time.
– Again, IMO Revlon should tone down the microshimmer thingy a bit now.
– Will not show the actual shade on pigmented lips.
Verdict: like I said before, grab! with both hands!
Will I repurchase/ recommend? A big loud YESS!!
