Hope you are all excited about holi as I am. Not only am I excited about the real colors but also the colors in my make-up kitty. Along with the Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links Eyeshadow in Onyx that I purchased, there were many other beautiful shades which were crying out to me to be picked. Plum shade has always been close to my heart be it in clothes, bags or lipsticks. This particular beauty was a love at first site and I could not stop myself from bringing it home. And I am glad I did that. It’s the most beautiful, practical and amazing matte plum which anyone could own.

My experience with the Revlon Color stay Shadow Links Eye shadow in Plum (110):
I love plum color. No matter what, if I see anything in plum, my heart would beg to my mind to pick it up. Ha ha, believe it or not this has been the scenario with most of the plum shade clothes and bags that are currently with me. I prefer the brown Smokey eye or neutral matte eye shadows for everyday eye make up to work. I found this one to be completely agreeing to my eye make-up norms for work, so there was no reason that I could leave it behind at the shop.
The packaging attracted me so much with its transparent lid and a cute travel friendly style. I so wanted to try out the freedom style of these eye shadows like a small kid playing with the building blocks. I always have a set of brushes and mirror in my make-up vanity and have rarely used the brush that comes along with eye shadows, so the absence of mirror or brush dint annoy me much.
The Texture is smooth and powdery and easily blend able with decent staying power. The plum shade looks very natural when applied without a base and can be good for beginners who do not want the color to pop up when applied. The color however makes its remarkable presence felt with a good base or primer (in case of oily eyelids like mine). It can be applied overall over the eyelid for simple style or combined with dark colors to give a good purple Smokey eye look. The color is easily buildable and the intensity can be easily controlled.
Also the combination of plum with ONYX sounded cool to me. The eye shadow when used along with color bar I glide pencil prunella as eyeliner gives a good effect. I would surely recommend this color to everyone.
