My Experience with Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Ultimate Volume Shampoo:
I get really excited about all the ‘Gliss’ shampoos. They have an amazing range of shampoos. This particular product is for fine, flat, damaged hair. I badly needed this one!
Packaging: All Schwarzkopf Gliss shampoos have the same long bottle. This one is a 250ml bottle and it still looks a little big. The shampoo comes in a blue, translucent plastic bottle with a grey flip flip cap. This packaging is totally leakage proof, so it is a travel friendly.
Texture and Quality: The shampoo is a clear gel type. There is no additional color added to the product. It contains a very sweet smell. I like this pleasant, floral fragrance, but it doesn’t stay for long. The shampoo is actually runny in texture, and unfortunately I always end up taking excess amount of the product owing to its runny consistency. So, you need to be careful at the time of usage. Only a small amount is needed for my long hair to create a good lather. It lathers very well. Only a couple of seconds massage creates good lather. I prefer shampoos that create lather so I can feel the cleaning effects.
Benefits and How it Works: Schwarzkopf Gliss shampoo is specially made to add volume to limp hair. It also contains Liquid Keratin which gives a smooth touch to the hair. I like to apply this shampoo thrice a week and it actually works. As I mentioned earlier, I have an oily scalp with limp hair. I have noticed the effects of this shampoo from first usage. I generally oil my hair a night before washing, and it totally cleanses up my oil with two washes. I never feel any oiliness after wash. So, it’s good as a cleanser. It deeply cleanses dirt from the roots. My hair feels soft and smooth. I never feel any dryness post application. It repairs my hair, and in fact has made it damage free.
Now, coming to the actual claims, it’s supposed to be an ultimate volume shampoo. It really makes my limp hair look better. Post wash, I air dry my hair. Once my hair gets dried properly, I can see a good amount of volume in it. The volume stays for 2 days nicely. My hair looks fresh and bouncy immediately and remain like that. As I am from Kolkata, and it is too humid, I generally need to wash my hair on a regular basis. Normally, my hair becomes flat very quickly after shampooing, but this shampoo provides long lasting volume.
It keeps my hair oil free for two days and it looks so fresh. It never makes my hair frizzy at all. It leaves a silky touch with great volume. I absolutely love this shampoo! I can style my hair nicely without the fear of weighing my hair down. The long lasting volume it provides always looks healthy and manageable. Also, I have not noticed any hair fall issued. It’s a yay from my side.
Overall, this is a great shampoo for limp, thin hair. It makes hair soft while adding good volume. I finally feel satisfied with this shampoo, and it’s the time to say goodbye to my oily and limp hair. I love the volume of my hair now. Even a conditioner is not required with this shampoo. It’s totally worth the money for me. Love love!
