Sephora has tonnes of options when it comes to their mascara collection. Having more than ten performing mascaras in my vanity, I keep looking for my holy grail mascara. That’s when I chose the Sephora Collection Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara. So, read on to know more about the product.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara:
The Sephora Collection Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara comes in a thick, long black tube. The packaging is fairly attractive and is travel-friendly. The applicator is perfectly sized, with all the bristles shaped perfectly. It takes two swipes to create the wide-eyed effect, with lengthened and separated lashes. The texture is not very thick but, it is creamy. Also, it has a good pigmentation. Sephora has two more colour options in the full action extreme effect mascara – blue and brown. I’m not very keen to try any other colours and always end up in choosing the shade “Black”. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.
I have under-sized lashes, so I’m compelled to grab a pair of false eyelashes, which isn’t convenient for daily use. Of late, I’ve been looking for a perfect mascara that would add a little drama to my short eyelashes. I was quite hopeful with this one. Although it provides a good lash volume and length, I’m not really amazed at this mascara. It dries up too soon, leaving no time to comb my puny lashes. The staying power is about 5 hours, which is okay. Also, it smudges under the eyes after 6 hours or so. I accidentally washed my eyes while wearing this mascara and ended up looking like Beyonce in the Why Don’t You Love Me video 😛 So, this mascara isn’t waterproof. Also, you can easily remove the mascara from your eyelashes with any cleanser or an eye makeup remover.
Pros of Sephora Collection Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara:
- Great for everyday use.
- Easy to use, comes with a long application wand.
- Makes your eyes pop with only two coats, without the use of an eyelash curler.
- Lengthens and volumizes lashes without clumping.
- Doesn’t cause any eye irritation, even if you put on your contact lenses.
- Easy to remove with any cleanser or eye makeup remover.
Cons of Sephora Collection Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara:
- Not waterproof.
- Quite expensive as compared to the drugstore mascaras that perform better.
- Not the best one in terms of lengthening and curling.
- Dries too fast.
- After 5 hours or so, the mascara would smudge under the eyes.
- Difficult to reach smaller lashes.
- Not suitable for a dramatic look.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Sephora Collection Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara?
I would not like to repurchase or recommend spending extra bucks on this average performing product. It is better to opt for a drugstore brand as this one has nothing unique to offer.
