Sephora has an amazing collection of mascaras. I had purchased two mascaras from Sephora last month –Sephora Full Action Mascara and this one – Outrageous Curl Dramatic Volume and Curve Mascara. Dramatic Curl Mascara will draw your attention with its unique tube and there is one similar looking mascara in Sephora which is the Outrageous Volume Dramatic Volume Mascara, but don’t get confused because this one that I am reviewing provides the benefit of curl and volume. So, let’s see how this mascara works.

This mascara achieves the ultimate in volume and curl, thanks to a round hairbrush-shaped mascara brush that curls as it applies. Seven reservoirs distributed around the brush allow for root-to-tip volume and make it possible to reach every eyelash, especially the shortest lashes at the inner corners of the eye.
The bristles are implanted diagonally on the brush to spread out the eyelashes and maximize the curving effect. Sulfate-free formula.
My Experience with Sephora Collection Outrageous Curl Dramatic Volume and Curve Mascara:
This mascara comes in a hefty, black twisty-shaped tube. The wand has a small size that makes it convenient to reach each individual lash. The texture is light and creamy. It makes my lashes too big and pretty with just a stroke. It is amazingly pigmented, probably the blackest mascara in my makeup vanity. The tube has a unique twist shape, and is way too heavy to carry.
This mascara brush allows for root-to-tip volume and makes it possible to reach every eyelash. I am usually very fussy about mascaras, but this one works like a charm for me. I use this one without using curler, and to my surprise, it works perfectly each time. I love wearing it every day.
A maximum of two coats are required to achieve super black color, curl and volume. The formula is smooth and light, it doesn’t make my eyes heavy although it takes a little while to dry. The lashes will stick down if I apply more than 2 coats. The biggest downside with this one is that it’s not waterproof.
The performance of this mascara is outstanding. It provides dramatic volume, curl and length. It doesn’t smudge on the bottom lashes. I wear contact lenses every day and it never irritates my eyes. I have short and puny lashes and this makes them look fuller.
It gives visible volume and curl for about 7 long hours, without flaking and smudging.

- Packaging too heavy for travel purpose.
