My Experience with MUA Curl Long Lasting Curl Mascara:
Recently, I had reviewed MUA Eye Define Lengthening Mascara. I grabbed this product when I saw the “Curl” on the mascara tube.
The MUA Curl Long Lasting Curl Mascara comes in a sleek black tube with a black screw on cap. There is not much information on the bottle other than the name of the product. The cap holds the applicator wand. The mascara wand is a curved one, which enhances the curling effect of your eyelashes. The packaging is satisfactory, but I wish they had more information on the product so that you get to know what you are buying.
The Mascara is jet black in color and has an amazing pigmentation. But, the wand is slightly disappointing, at least for me. The product forms clumps on the wand, which creates a lot of mess over the rim. So, I have to remove this excess product every time I use the mascara. The product is not wet or dry but, it has a perfect texture. Except for the clump formation, the packaging is good and travel-friendly.
The product doesn’t irritate the eyes and within 2-3 swipes, you can achieve beautifully lengthened and curled eyelashes. The product does add some volume and provides a fuller lash effect to the eyelashes. The mascara doesn’t form clumps on the eyelashes, but it leaves a little residue on the inner lashes which you have to scrape it off before application. The product doesn’t feel heavy on the eyelids and dries pretty fast. So, for creating a dramatic effect, you can build up the product quickly. It is a waterproof mascara, so you can use an oil or an eye makeup remover to remove it from your lashes.
The product stays on the lashes for a good 6-8 hours, which is amazing. It also gives a tight lined effect to my eyes. The mascara does flake off after 8 hours and you can find flakes all over your face, which I hate. The mascara for the price is a good buy. However, when compared to the MUA Eye Define Lengthening Mascara, I feel it isn’t as good as the former one.

- Curl effect fades after 6 hours.
- A lot of product sits on the tip; you have to scrape them off before application.
