My Experience with Shea Moisture Sacha Inchi Omega 3,6,9 Rescue and Replenishing Body Lotion:
Packaging: While I do like the push-top, no-mess bottle, initially it is very difficult to get the product out once it gets low because of how thick the consistency is. I would’ve preferred a squeeze tube.
Consistency: This is an extremely rich, thick yet non heavy body lotion. I have dry skin all over and this lotion is perfect for me especially during the winter time. While it does take a while for it to get absorbed since it is so creamy, I find it best to apply it before bedtime. My skin is noticeably supple and stays smooth for a long time. It has helped heal chapped and flaky skin on my hands and feet. For those who do not like super heavy body lotions, might not appreciate the consistency of this lotion.
Fragrance: The main reason I got this product (actually I bought everything that was offered of this particular “Sacha Inchi” range) just because of the scent. It is quite a unique scent and may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I can’t have enough of it. This has a moderately “manly” musky earthy scent which has me feeling like I just came out from a forest. Even though I describe it as “manly,” I think the scent smells nice on a woman too.
Overall, I love this lotion while I do not reach it as much in the summer time as I did in the winter. I will repurchase this.

- Does take a while to get absorb due to its thick consistency.
- The fragrance may not be for everyone but I love it.
