Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer Review
I am really blessed. I am an Indian female, who works professionally, has erratic work schedules, has a small kid, and has allergies to certain things. I cannot say that I sleep very less (I really like to sleep!!!), but I have been blessed with very beautiful and persistent UNDER EYE DARK CIRCLES. I am still on the hunt for my HG eye cream for getting rid of these dark circles, but lately, I realized that I might be hunting in vain. So, I have accepted these as my fate, and try to keep them under control as much as possible. But on certain occasions, I do need to look bright and radiant; and so I do try on various concealers for my under eye area. Lately, I have been exclusively using this cream concealer from Shiseido and I am reviewing this product for all of you.

My Experience with Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer:
I was matched to shade 3B at the Shiseido counter, mainly for my under eye area. First, I would like to describe my under eye area. My eye area (both upper and lower eyelid area) is dark as compared to rest of my face. My under eye area is dry and has fine lines as well (ever since I was a teenager). As a result, I usually prefer liquid to creamy texture concealers. However, liquid concealers are more on the sheer side, which do not completely conceal my dark under eye area. Shiseido is an Asian brand, and I think that it has more color options for us Indian ladies, compared to any other brand.
The product comes in the standard Shiseido red and black box packaging. All the details of the product are mentioned on the box, as well on an information sheet placed inside the box. The concealer comes in a simple, black color squeezable tube packaging. The fact that it comes in a tube makes it very hygienic indeed. Also, it ensures that there is no product wastage. The tube has a pointed top with a hole in the centre.
The product has a nice liquid to creamy consistency, with superb pigmentation. Only a very tiny amount is needed for concealing my under eye dark circles. It is very creamy and glides well over the skin without any tugging at all. It provides medium coverage, which is easily buildable. Even on building up the coverage, it never looks cakey at all. It blends extremely well and seems to sink into my skin, giving a seamless and extremely natural looking semi matte finish.
Since this is a cream-based concealer, it may dry out the skin. For oily skin beauties, this is a perfect concealer. For dry skin people, it will be better to moisturise the area before applying the concealer. I, anyways apply an eye cream every day, so this is not an issue with me. It does not crease or exaggerate my fine lines. However, since it tends to dry and set quickly, you will have to blend it fast.
The shades have yellowish undertone to them, which makes it an excellent choice for Asian beauties. The shade 3B works perfectly for my under eye dark circles, however, it is darker for the rest of my face, but since I do not have any other major skin issues on my face, this is not a problem for me. You may check out at the counter for a suitable shade for your skin, and it has 8 shades available.
It lasts a long time; in fact the entire day without any fading at all. It may be applied with a concealer brush or with your fingers. I find that working with fingers gives the best results, since it warms up the product and helps in even blending. It gives better results when you pat the concealer in the area, rather than making sweeping motions under the eyes. It is indeed sweat, oil and water resistant, and I need an eye makeup remover to get the product out at the end of the day. This 10 ml product is going to last me a long time (maybe 6-9 months), even with daily use.

Would I Recommend Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer ?
Yes, this is indeed a nice concealer with plenty of shades, having yellow undertones, which will work very well for Asian girls. It gives the most natural-looking finish to the skin, lasts long without any fading and is very hygienic. Though it has silicones in it, it may be used by sensitive skin types as well (unless you are particularly allergic to silicones). It is an excellent choice for all skin types, all year round, and one tube will really last a long, long time.
