Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 Review
I was never a fan of heavy foundations. Till date, I have only used about 4-5 foundations. I mostly used to dilute them with a face lotion, but for the past few years, tinted moisturizers and BB creams are making my life easier 🙂 I am a combination-oily girl and sometimes my skin has dry patches, so finding anything takes a great deal of research for me. Although, I have had bad luck with BB creams, this one needs a special mention!

Product Description:
Smashbox’s Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 is a five-in-one complexion miracle-worker that moisturizes, primes, perfects, protects and controls oil in a single step. The revolutionary tinted formula instantly evens out the complexion to create smooth, radiant skin without settling into fine lines and pores.

My Take on Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35:
I never fell in the BB bandwagon. They are in my opinion just tinted moisturizers with a couple of additional big name ingredients. I tried a ton in Sephora before taking this one because I had nothing to wear on my face on a big trip. I went to 3 different weather zones and I am very happy to say that this protected my face skin in all the three zones.
I usually apply it in tiny dots across the face and blend. It is not sticky and spreads on the skin without streaking. Although it’s so expensive, I use my fingers 😉 It keeps my oily skin seemingly anti-shiny and doesn’t stick to dry skin either. It also gives a nice coverage without looking too fake-perfect. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin as well. The best thing about this is that even being SPF 35, it does not look white in pictures (maybe that’s why they call it camera ready).  I am thinking of saving up and getting the bigger version too. It lasts a long time as you need just a tiny amount!
Summing it up:
Pros of Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35:
- The tube is very sleek and travel friendly.
- SPF 35.
- No fragrance.
- Long lasting.
- Does not irritate or break out my skin at all.
- Does NOT cake or cling to dry spots.
- Satin/matte finish.
Cons of Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35:
- Oil control was decent, I had to still use a powder with it and dab a couple times.
- Has only 5 shades. Clearly Smashbox has no idea about skin tones. The medium is a tad dark on me.
Verdict:
It is comparatively better than a ton of sham BBs circling in the market, worth trying out!
