I’ll be reviewing a cleansing milk from the brand soap and glory today. I have tried their body scrubs, hand creams and body butters so far and this was the first face care Item I purchased. Sephora had come to the Australian shores only recently and I was very eager to get hold of this cleansing milk. I have heard rave reviews about this product and was looking forward to trying it. Let us see how this faired for me.

My Experience with Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Cleansing Milk:

This cleansing milk can be purchased either in a squeeze tube or a big pink bottle. I got the tube as I’ll get bored if I were to use the same cleansing milk for ages. As someone with oily combination skin I had not used any cleaning milks before this product. While I researched I found out that this cleansing milk is good for any type of skin.

Cleansing milk comes in a pink tube with the typical soap and glory packaging. It’s pink vintage and girly, a perfect mix of all that I like. The product comes out in a lotion like consistency, quite thick than I expected. Since, it claimed to be a “milk” I expected it to be more watery. The cleanser I was using during last winter did not remove makeup, so I really wanted to try this product, which claimed to have 4 benefits. It reminded me of the Laneige cleanser I had used previously.

Being a lover of fruity fragrances I was eager to open it up and sniff… it smelt like peach cocktail and I really liked the fragrance. When I only have face makeup and nothing heavy on my eyes I use only this cleansing milk and it does the job of removing everything well. But, when I have a lot of eye makeup on I feel I need to use an eye makeup remover or the Garnier micellar water and then use this cleansing milk. After I started using this milk I feel my skin feels majorly soft and refreshed. Peaches and clean contain exfoliating alpha hydroxyl acids, which is a plus as this product is reasonably priced for a cleanser containing AHAs.

I have also noticed my skin looks plump after I use this cleansing milk. I have since finished up this cleaning milk and am using a chemical free cleanser from the Brand “nude” in Australia as I have modified my skincare routine a bit during my pregnancy. Will definitely purchase this again at a later time.

Pros of Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Cleansing Milk:

• Removes face makeup, except eye makeup.
• The peach fragrance is girly and smells wonderful.
• Contains peach extract and Quillaja bark to gently cleanse skin and also the AHA to exfoliate the skin.
• Contains pore shrink R2 to minimise pores and makes skin look smooth.
• Soap and glory is easily available in many countries.
• Priced reasonably for the quantity.

Cons of Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Cleansing Milk:

• As this does not remove eye makeup an additional step of using cleansing water/makeup remover is needed.

Would I repurchase/recommend Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Cleansing Milk?

After finishing up this tube I’m currently using a cleanser intended for use during pregnancy, but will definitely repurchase this at a later time.
