Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream

Hey Everyone,

Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream

Today’s review is about my favourite hand cream ever and it is “Soap and Glory’s Hand Food.”  Let me tell you a small story of how I discovered this product.  Here in the UK, there are a bunch of charity shops like cancer UK, where you can buy clothes, shoes and loads of miscellaneous things for very cheap. Basically, people in the UK donate clothes and random stuff to charity shops and the staff remodel or renovate these used items and put them up on sale for very less prices and money raised through this goes to charity and this is called as thrifting in the US.

I like to call it charity shopping and absolutely love shopping there.  One day, I was just browsing in a charity shop and I saw a tag of 50 p on one of the most-raved hand cream ever “Hand Food” and I instantly grabbed it.  I still can’t believe that I paid 50 pence for a quantity of 125 ml.  I paid around 50 Indian rupees for a product worth £5.  I guess the person who donated it didn’t like the smell.  I guess it was my luck that I discovered the best hand cream ever.  I have been repurchasing it ever since and it’s been a year since I bought it.  Honestly, ladies, I am a sucker for hand creams.  I have tried Nivea to Burt’s Bees, but I got to say that “Hand Food” is by far the best-smelling and the best hand cream.

Soap and Glory

Product Description:

Soap & Glory Hand Food™ Hand Cream is a super-silky gorgeously-scented non-greasy hydrating hand cream featuring fennel and lotus flower extracts, which leaves your hands super smooth.  Apply a little Soap & Glory Hand Food™ Hand Cream as often as you want to soften, smooth and soothe dry, chapped or otherwise hampered hands and relish in the delightful aromas of fresh bergamot, strawberries and mandarin, with floral and fruity midnotes, and musk, amber and warm vanilla. The most astonishing hand cream ever? You decide!  Soap & Glory™ formulas are not tested on animals, only very picky people.

Available at Boots and Superdrug.

I gravitate towards pink as I love pink and I think the packaging is just unique, funky and peppy and the name is adorable too,  “bring on my hand food.”

Soap and Glory

I don’t believe in “you get what you pay for” and this is true because 125 ml is £5 (INR 480) and the 50 ml is £2.50 (240 INR).  Price is reasonable for the product.

My Thoughts on Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream:

Hand Food is just heavenly from the way it smells to the way it feels on my hands, it is just superb. It’s a “makeup bag must have” and I think the 50 ml is just the ideal size to throw into your car, handbag, work desk, just anywhere.  I have very dry skin and I think that this is the most hydrating, nongreasy, light hand cream ever and truly, its like food to my hands!  Packaging is cute and typical “Soap and Glory” type with a hassle-free tube that doesn’t dispense a lot of product. Overall, I think it does what it claims and also the scent isn’t too overpowering, its very girly somewhat similar to Miss Cherie EDP and its perfect in every way and yes, it’s the most wonderful hand cream ever!

Pros of Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream:

  • Creamy and nongreasy, it melts like butter into the palms and gives the most soft hands ever, very hydrating.
  • The best smelling hand cream.  It smells like strawberries and vanilla and leaves a musky smell at the end and trust me, the smell lasts for a while.
  • With Hand Food, my hands don’t feel dry even after I wash them.

Cons of Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream:

  • Limited availability, though you can find it online at the Boot’s website.
