I recently purchased a few products from Sugar Cosmetics and today I am going to review Sugar Cosmetics Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad 06 Disturbia.

My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad 06 Disturbia:
Packaging:
This eyeshadow quad comes in a cute coral container with a magnetic closure lid. This is made of a strong cardboard and that’s why it feels extremely light. It is strong enough and good in quality, hence is perfect to carry around easily. It looks really pretty too. Also, it comes with a dual-ended sponge applicator, which you can use if you want. It is not bad, but I prefer my brushes. It doesn’t have any mirror, though. Also, the palette often gets messy because of the shimmers.
Shades and Pigmentation:
The shade 06 Disturbia is a beautiful palette with dark shades. This palette contains four shades and I like the combination of shades. It has three matte shades and one shimmery shade. Now, let me describe each shade individually:
Shade 1: The topmost shade is a beautiful dark ashy brown shade that works as a nice base for smoky eye look. It also helps blend the shades.
Shade 2: Next is my favourite shade. It is a beautiful royal blue shade that looks gorgeous on the eyes. Though the texture is matte it has some shimmer in it.
Shade 3: Next is a gorgeous bluish-purple shade and it is the only shimmery shade.
Shade 4: This is a gorgeous dark plum shade which looks bold on the eyes. It is perfect for creating smoky eye makeup.
All these shades are well-pigmented and require just a few swipes. Initially, the matte shades feel a little less pigmented, but on the eyes, they appear well. I can easily build up the pigmentation. Such shades are perfect for all skin tones and go with every outfit.
Texture and Quality:
All the shades have an extremely soft and buttery texture that blends effortlessly on the eyes. Amazingly, these matte shades have an extremely smooth and soft formula that never feels powdery or chalky. I am in love with its formula. The shades blend so smoothly with a light hand application. The shimmery shade gives a stunning illuminating look while the matte shades have a flawlessly smooth finish.
These shadows don’t crease or settle. I really love their quality and the formula feels so light on the eyes. These fall out a bit, but if you dust them before application, then you can avoid the issue easily. Otherwise, this is a stunning eyeshadow palette. The blue shadow is a bit powdery, though.
Staying Power:
These colors last long on the eyes – without any creasing or mess. They stay in place and survive a long day easily. They almost last around 6-7 hours without any fading. With a primer, these shadows last longer and are easy to remove as well.
Overall:
I am obsessed with this palette. It is an affordable, amazingly formulated eyeshadow quad that has some lovely shades for creating bold eye makeup looks.
