Hair type: Oily hair, prone to hair fall and frizz

How are you doing? Hair masks are quite a muted product when it comes to hair care regime, that’s what I feel, at least. Normally, we just use hair oil, shampoo and a conditioner. Rarely, I have heard from people using a hair mask. Hair masks are very important in our hair care regime as they make our hair tangle free thereby, making it less prone to breakage. Also, it provides softness and smoothness to the hair follicles and makes them shiny and healthy. A lot of people consider hair masks to be an unnecessary expense but, it is one of my most essential needs. Previously, I’ve used a number of hair masks, but only a few have made it to my favourite list. During the last winter, I picked up Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Hair cream as my hair was as dry as the Sahara Desert 😛 Now, when I have used it for more than six months, I feel this is the perfect time to pen down my thoughts on this product. So, without further rambling, let’s just jump into the detailed review.

My Experience with Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Hair Cream:
Sunsilk Co-Creations Nourishing Soft and Smooth Hair Cream comes in a yellow coloured tub packaging, which I find quite unhygienic. But practically, most of the hair masks that I have tried come in tub packaging only. However, the cap is sturdy and shuts tightly. The hair cream is quite thick in consistency so, there is no leakage. The packaging is quite simple but has bright accents of yellow and brown, which is not very pretty, at the same time, it doesn’t look bad, too. Basically, it’s a huge tub with a thick white coloured hair cream in it.
As soon as you open the tub, you will see a thick white cream with a pleasant fragrance, which is quite floral and mild. As instructed, I apply the hair cream onto my dry hair and let it sit for around 15-20 minutes, and then, wash it off with the Sunsilk Nourishing and Smooth Shampoo. I skip the conditioner whenever I use any hair mask as it weighs down my hair and makes them greasy and oily the very next day. Although the cream is thick in consistency, it still spreads easily and coats each and every strand of my hair. Once dried, my hair looks smooth, frizz-free and tangle free. I comb my hair using a tangle teezer, and there were hardly 2-3 strands in it. I felt so happy to see it, as my hair is easily prone to hair fall and frizz. I use this hair cream once a week. Since I have long hair, I require a lot of cream to cover the entire length so, one tub lasts for about 4-5 uses. I’m already using my fourth tub. I always keep it in stock since it works so well for my hair.
