Hope you’re doing great. Today, I am going to review Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint – Tempted. So without further ramblings, let me tell you why this is one of the most comfortable lip tints I own.

My Experience with Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint Tempted:

Though I love matte and liquid lipsticks, I also look out for comfortable balms or tints. I like formulas that give lightweight and comfortable wear on the lips. So recently, I picked up a matte lip tint from Tarte, which looks super cute and adds a fresh look to my face without drying out my lips. It comes packaged in a standard chubby stick format with a silver colored cap.

The color of the stick matches the shade of the tint, which makes it easy to spot and use. The shade name is present on the top of the stick and there is an outer dark purple cardboard box also, which carries all the other details. This chubby stick is a retractable pencil, so it is quite convenient to use. The stick format allows you to precisely apply the colour without the need of a lip liner.

Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint also has a minty scent to it which makes it quite refreshing on the lips; it also gives a cooling sensation. The Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint range is quite similar to Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms but Tarte offers better quality. Tempted is a dark vampy berry shade that looks almost like the color of grapes on the lips. This is an ideal fall shade and is actually very, very wearable. It also makes my complexion appear brighter. Even though the product is lot like a tinted lip balm it offers intensely matte pigment which feels quite lightweight and moisturizing.

The formula includes vitamin C to fight free radicals and premature signs of aging; it also offers skin brightening, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. This product glides smoothly on the lips – absolutely no tugging and goes on with full color. More than one swipe may be required for full coverage on pigmented lipsm though. The texture of this tint is even, smooth, and comfortable.

My lips are loving every bit of this lip tint. I do not have to apply a lip balm underneath because the product is moisturizing enough. Tempted has become my go-to shade for my no makeup days as it instantly adds a nice pop of color to my face. The staying power is solid four to five hours with a little fading and reapplication is easy as well. Overall, Tarte has won my heart with this lip tint.
